Our History

My EDU Prep origin

The reason behind starting MyEduPrep is straightforward. It stems from my desire to share my firsthand experience of and expertise in studying abroad with a diverse array of individuals, offering the most effective assistance possible. Having personally navigated this journey, I can confidently guide and support others with high-quality resources and personal insights.

How it started

Marianne, CEO of MyEduPrep, graduated from the University of Cambridge, UK with a first-class master’s degree in Education (Educational Leadership and Improvement). Her thesis focused on ‘The relationship between parental involvement and students’ fear of failure’.   Marianne currently serves as an evaluator for the Accreditation Body for International Schools worldwide (NEASC, CIS (joint pathway)). Certified international schools in Korea include but are not limited to: NLCS, SJA Jeju, and Dulwich College.
After completing her primary education in Korea, Marianne travelled to the UK to pursue her academic aspirations. While completing her postgraduate studies, she devoted herself to teaching English at an international school in South Korea. Her exceptional guidance and mentorship have enabled countless students to gain admission into renowned universities in the UK and US, including the University of Cambridge, UCL, Warwick, King’s College London and the Chicago Arts Institute, to name a few. Beyond academic consultancy, Marianne brings unique expertise in empowering students, fostering a growth mindset and instilling philosophical values vital for a successful and fulfilling life.

Partnership institute coaching

We have an established partnership with DGIST (Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology), offering comprehensive study abroad consultation services. We have also provided a two-week IELTS coaching classes to employees of KEPCO (Korea Electric Power Corporation), all of whom are now successfully secured permanent roles.

Effective IELTS instruction

We have engaged in teaching IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with a prominent organisation, KEPCO, contributing to the language proficiency development of numerous individuals.
